Responsibilities

• Responsible for the processing of payments to vendors, employees, universities, candidates, etc. ensuring accuracy, timeliness and completeness.
• Responsible for real-time cash management including reconciling all of the banking accounts (multiple entities, banks, and accounts).
• Assist with oversight of Concur platform including review of reports and user management.
• Assist with general ledger management with account review, monthly journal entries and reconciliations.
• Assist with reporting - research, manager and external reporting as needed.
• Assist with annual audit procedures with focus on audit materials.
• Assist with managing accounting policies and procedures documents.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting as needed.

Requirements

• Must be extremely detail oriented ensuring accuracy with a strong ‘customer' service attitude
• 2 + years of progressive accounting/finance experience; ideally a public accounting/private industry mix
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or closely related field
• Strong knowledge and experience with accounting and the close process, and understanding of internal controls and adherence
• Team player with attitude of willingness to help others on team with any adhoc requirements
• Self-motivated, routinely initiate and deliver projects successfully with minimal supervision.
