Sunland Group has an immediate opening for a BIM Manager to join our team.

As a BIM Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of BIM standards, workflows, and processes across the program. The primary role will include setting up Revit models for new projects and updating existing models during design. You will also liaise with clients, other consultants, and contractors to ensure the quality and consistency of BIM deliverables.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement of CAD standards and training material in coordination with the design team
• Recommendations for software implementation
• Development of BIM execution plans
• Standardization of clash detection workflows for use by project team members
• Standardization of model-based issue resolution workflows
• Defining software interconnectivity procedures between different software both on-prem and in the cloud (BIM360)
• Research and development of new tools, procedures, products, and systems to improve the design workflow
• Supporting model-based knowledge management goals
• Meet with CMAR and discuss software optimization and process and procedures
• Implementation of new design and collaboration software
• Make 3 D models from Architect for interim use
• Interfaces with Project Manager, Project Engineer(s), Discipline Design Leads, Project Controls Engineer(s), Database Administrator(s), and Data/Software Engineers

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
• Strong written and verbal communication

Preferences :

• Strong experience with REVIT
• Leadership skills
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
• Graphic design skills, experience using Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
• Excellent hands-on experience with large scale BIMs as an author and strategic leader.
• SME with Revit, B360, and Navisworks.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to visually present data.
• Proficiency using spreadsheets to manage large amounts of data.
• Ability to support multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to determine what is most important and prioritize tasks based on business impact and needs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Multitasking and time management in a fast-paced environment.
• Be able to work in a team environment or independently.
• Be able to bring innovation to existing processes and procedures.
