Job Description

We are seeking a Cerner Analyst (Registration) to join a prominent healthcare system on a 3-year fully remote contract.

The Cerner Analyst (Registration) is responsible for evaluating, testing, and resolving issues with the Cerner Registration Application system by collaborating with management and operations to provide troubleshooting and general system support.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and build Cerner Registration rules and make updates to Cerner conversations.
• Review, analyze, and modify Cerner Millennium Registration for areas including, but not limited to, Utilization Management worklists, access management, and clinic/hospital discharge and admit functions.
• Perform system break/fixes, system changes and enhancements, and ongoing system maintenance, including testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
• Maintain accountability for quality and follow-up actions related to system configurations and changes.
• Ensure all registration applications are functioning properly and that customer requests are completed on time and to the highest quality standards.
• Conduct call support analysis, issue resolution, requirements gathering, and solution design.
• Manage and resolve assigned incident and change request tickets.
• Review and test all changes, interfaces, conversions, improvements, and new releases as assigned.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation to guide system users and assist with ongoing operations, maintenance, and development.
• Monitor system effectiveness and performance to identify potential issues and report critical findings to stakeholders and leadership.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least 2 years of Cerner Millennium experience required.
• Experience with WIN32 registration required.
• Working knowledge of Revenue Cycle registration information systems required.
