Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Key Responsibilities
Audit & Compliance: Manage relationships with independent auditors and ensure compliance with state, federal, and company policies.
Vendor & Investor Relations: Build and sustain strong relationships with vendors, investors, and financial institutions.
Internal Controls: Oversee internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures to safeguard financial integrity.
Strategic Finance Leadership: Lead the finance and accounting functions with a focus on process improvement and efficiency.
Team Development: Hire, train, and retain a high-performing accounting and finance team.
Risk Management: Identify and manage business risks, including insurance requirements.
Cash Flow & Operations: Assess cash flow and ensure it aligns with organizational needs and goals.
Financial Systems: Oversee financial system implementations and upgrades to optimize reporting and accuracy.
Staff Management: Supervise and guide all finance personnel to maintain smooth daily operations.
Qualifications

Experience with:
Financial Compliance: Job costing, state and federal compliance, and government regulations.
Financial Systems: Proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise or similar financial platforms.
Industries: Experience with sectors such as consumer loans, real estate acquisitions, or organic food is beneficial.
Financial Reporting: Managing monthly financials and preparing comprehensive reports for stakeholders.
