Content Creator Job Description

Olive Ateliers, a lifestyle brand renowned for importing, curating, and retailing one-of-a-kind home furnishings, seeks a passionate and skilled Content Creator for our Los Angeles HQ. This full-time role is instrumental in bringing the brand’s aesthetic to life through compelling visual storytelling across product photography, editorial photography, videography, and social media content creation. You will report directly to the Chief Brand Officer . The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment and has a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in visual content creation.

The role is full-time, salaried, and requires an in-person work week from Monday through Friday with occasional weekends and travel as required to accommodate production. As our business grows, this role may evolve in various ways.

Responsibilities:

Photography & Videography

  • Plan, execute & edit product photography for e-commerce, ensuring accurate and visually appealing representation of inventory to drive online conversion
  • Conceptualize and shoot visually stunning and brand-aligned editorial photography for web, press, and advertising, aligned with seasonal brand direction
  • Create high-quality video content for product launches, campaigns, and social media

Social Media Content Creation

  • Develop and produce engaging, platform-specific content for Instagram, TikTok, and other social media channels as needed
  • Monitor and adapt to social media trends to create relevant and shareable content

 

Collaboration & Strategy

  • Collaborate with the marketing and merchandising teams to align visuals with campaign goals
  • Support promotional material design and ensure visual consistency across all touchpoints

Position Requirements:

  • 2+ years of professional experience in photography, videography, or related fields
  • Strong portfolio showcasing product photography, videography, and creative content creation
  • Proficiency in photography equipment, lighting setups, and editing software (Adobe Creative Suite & Lightroom preferred)
  • Proficiency with Mac Operating Systems, iOS devices, Microsoft Office, Google Applications, Trello, Slack, Canva and/or Photoshop
  • Comprehensive understanding of social media platforms and their content needs
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • A proactive and collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills
  • Strong detail orientation 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Licensed to drive required
  • Must be based in Los Angeles

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and mobilize equipment and small to medium items with proper techniques
  • Comfortable maneuvering around the Atelier floor, stock room, and studio spaces

Compensation:

  • $67-$75k salary pay scale commensurate with relevant experience and capabilities
