Most importantly, in all we do we live our values: Act as One Team by fostering inclusion, collaboration, and respect Drive for Excellence by being agile, innovative and efficient Do What's Right by acting safely, ethically, and sustainablyTheElevator Operatoris responsible for shipping & receiving meal product arriving by railcar & departing by truck- in an efficient manner with respect to; production, quality, sanitation andsafety.Main AccountabilitiesOperate systems required to receive and ship product in a safe and efficient manner.Maintain and troubleshoot all equipment within the facility.Know and follow all safety, environmental, and emergency procedures.Complete log sheets, load forms and other paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.Understand shipping and receiving systems and product flow throughout the facilityUnderstand and follow switch engine and rail proceduresUnderstand and follow sample procedures as it relates to shipping productDemonstrate knowledge of preventive maintenance proceduresDemonstrate skill in operating mobile equipmentCommunicate policies and procedures to others as neededMonitor product levels and assist in monthly inventoriesKeep work areas and grounds clean at all timesActively participate in all aspects of safety including near-miss reporting and meetingsDemonstrate the following core values and guiding behaviors which are expected of all employees at Bunge North America: Integrity, Openness and Trust, Teamwork, Citizenship, and Entrepreneurship.Performs other duties as assigned.Education/Experience High School Diploma or GED; is preferredKnowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures.Knowledge of basic math.Oral and written communications skills.Understanding of basic technology of area where assigned.Ability to take instruction and follow directions requiredComfortable working safely in high places and with rail equipment requiredAbility to work outdoors in all weather conditions requiredStrong mechanical skills preferredProficient in basic computer skills preferredMust have initiative and demonstrate strong customer service skills requiredMust be self-motivated with the ability to work unsupervised requiredPositive attitude requiredBackground in agriculture desiredThree Shift OperationAble to work overtime as neededBunge (NYSE: BG) is a world leader in sourcing, processing and supplying oilseed and grain products and ingredients.
