GIS Intern - Austin, TX Halff has an immediate opening for a water resources-focused GIS Intern in our Austin North, TX location to provide support for GIS mapping tasks, database development and engineering-related studies. The desired candidate would have an interest in water resources projects and be both team oriented and self-motivated. GIS Intern Requirements: Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geography, Engineering, Computer Science, or other GIS-related field Working knowledge of general GIS concepts (editing, topology, queries, etc.) Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and improve workflows Attention to detail and ability to produce quality work Ability to start in the Austin office immediately GIS Intern Desired Skills: ArcGIS Desktop v10.x and/or ArcGIS Pro 2.x-3 Microsoft Office Strong work ethic Interest in staying current on uses and best practices of geospatial technology Company Overview: Halff is a mid-sized, employee-owned, diverse, and multi-disciplined professional services firm designed, engineered, planned, constructed - and purposed - for people.
