Essential Accountabilities:
* Build and lead a team of skilled professionals responsible for infrastructure operations, network administration, system engineering, cybersecurity, and incident response. Provide mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities to team members.
* Provide technical support and assistance to end users in resolving network-related issues, including connectivity problems, VoIP telephony issues, and access to network resources, ensuring minimal disruption to plant operations.
* Design, deploy, and maintain the plant's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and wireless network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and reliability for voice and data communication.
* Manage and support voice communication systems, such as IP telephony (VoIP) and unified communications (UC), to facilitate internal and external communication needs of the plant staff and stakeholders.
* Implement and maintain data storage and backup solutions to ensure the integrity, availability, and confidentiality of plant data, including production data, inventory records, and operational documents.
* Implement and maintain robust network security measures to protect against cyber threats and unauthorized access, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls, while ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
* Coordinate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems, leveraging expertise in network protocols, technologies, and best practices to ensure prompt resolution of issues affecting voice and data communication.
* Continuously monitor network performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement optimization strategies to enhance efficiency and minimize downtime for both voice and data communication systems.
* Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to procure network equipment, software, and services, negotiate contracts, and ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) for voice and data communication systems.
* Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures to mitigate the impact of network failures or security breaches on voice and data communication systems, ensuring business continuity and data protection.
* Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, voice communication systems, and data management procedures, and generate regular reports on network performance, security incidents, and compliance status for management review.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in IS operations, network administration, or a similar role.
* Proven experience in managing IS infrastructure and services in a manufacturing or industrial environment Relevant certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or similar are preferred.
* Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.
* Proficiency in managing voice communication systems, such as IP telephony (VoIP) and unified communications (UC).
* Experience with data management, including data storage, backup solutions, and disaster recovery planning.
* Expertise in network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls.
* Familiarity with system monitoring and optimization tools.
* Demonstrated ability to build and lead a team of skilled professionals.
* Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
