As a Lead R&D Engineer here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise to lead critical projects to develop PVD sputtering Targets primarily through powder metal processing. You will play a pivotal role in driving the development and implementation of powder metallurgy processes and technologies to develop new products and improve product quality. Your deep understanding of powder processing principles and practices will be instrumental in the development of innovative products and solutions. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing best practices to improve our process and products. This role involves complex problem solving and the ability to work well with cross-functional teams that span the organization. You will report directly to senior R&D manager, and you'll work out of our Spokane, WA, USA location. In this role, you will impact the development of cutting-edge technologies and contribute to Honeywell's commitment to addressing materials challenges in the electronics industry through innovative solutions.
Responsibilities:
The annual base salary range for this position is <$140,000.00 - $150,000.00. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
*This role is incentive eligible (bonus)
