Summary Under the clinical supervision of a physician, Atrius Health is seeking a Full-time Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or a certified Physician Assistant (PA) to join our Hematology, Oncology, and Infusion practice(s) in Boston, Massachusetts. The Certified NP/PA works in collaboration with physicians, nurses, and administrative staff to provide comprehensive care and plan of care to adult hematology and oncology patients in the outpatient clinic setting. EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS Graduate of nationally accredited, Masters-level Physician Assistant program. Possesses/eligible for national certification as a Physician Assistant. Possesses/eligible for licensure as a Physician Assistant in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Possession and maintenance of or eligibility for DEA and Mass DPH Controlled Substances Registration. American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) required. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required based on specialty. Graduate of a State-approved school of Nursing and Nurse Practitioner program. Master of Science degree and Nurse Practitioner certification in an area of specialty required. Possess a current license to practice as a professional nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and authorization to practice in the expanded role. Possession and maintenance of or eligibility for DEA and Mass DPH Controlled Substances Registration. American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) required. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required based on specialty. Experience Two years of direct patient care experience as a Physician Assistant or Nurse practitioner within a primary care or specialty care setting. Strong preference for experience in hematology/oncology & Infusion.
