Atlas Immersion Academy is a community-focused organization dedicated to providing exceptional childcare services and fostering a nurturing and vibrant environment for families and staff alike. We are seeking a dynamic, motivated, and outgoing individual to join our team as an offline (in the community!) and online Community Manager.

Role Overview

The Online & Offline Community Manager plays a central role in driving community engagement, fostering connections with families, staff, and the broader community both online and in person. This full-time position is perfect for a highly organized, effective communicator who excels at engaging diverse groups and enjoys a dynamic mix of responsibilities, including event planning, marketing and administrative support, and enhancing our brand presence.

Key ResponsibilitiesCommunity Engagement & Event Planning (50%)

• Plan, organize, and execute in-person events to bring families and staff together, fostering a sense of community.
• Develop and oversee virtual community-building initiatives, such as webinars, Q&A sessions, and interactive online events.
• Act as a positive, approachable representative of Atlas in all interactions, both online and offline.

Marketing & Social Media Management (30%)

• Collaborate closely with our international marketing manager to develop and implement creative strategies for brand promotion and community engagement.
• Assist with recruitment efforts by creating social media campaigns, job posting promotions, and marketing materials to attract top talent.
• Support content creation for social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn), ensuring posts align with the Atlas brand and messaging.
• Execute a content calendar to consistently promote events, hiring opportunities, and the Atlas mission to the community.
• Respond to online inquiries and comments, showcasing Atlas as an engaging and supportive organization.

Administrative Support & Errands (20%)

• Handle small but essential admin tasks, such as collecting and scanning mail, making deposits, and running occasional errands.
• Provide general support to the leadership team, helping keep operations smooth and organized.

QualificationsRequired:

• Experience in event planning, community engagement, or social media management.
• An extroverted personality, with a natural ability to connect and communicate effectively with diverse groups.
• Comfortable on screen and able to represent Atlas professionally and engagingly in videos, webinars, and live events.
• High level of motivation, organization, and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn) and basic graphic design tools (e.g., Canva).
• Availability to work Tuesday through Saturday, with occasional evenings as needed for events.

Preferred:

• Experience in childcare, education, or related industries.
• Basic knowledge of email marketing tools (e.g., Gmail) and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
• A valid drivers license or reliable transportation.
