We are currently seeking a Bridge Project Manager in Pennsylvania (Philadelphia) that requires technical expertise in bridge design, plans production, and the ability to manage projects / clients, supervise production in multiple offices, and provide day-to-day technical guidance, supervision and career mentoring to direct reports.

• Serve as Project Manager and client interface on specific bridge related projects
• Direct proposal efforts for bridge pursuits and writes assigned sections of bridge proposals and Statements of Interest
• Develop production work plans, schedules and budgets
• Work with other project managers and Sector manager to establish contract budgets and scopes of work
• Plan and schedule engineering work
• Implement rigorous Quality Assurance/Quality Control procedures in conjunction with TYLin and Agency standards
• Organize and develop contract plans
• Develop contract specifications and bid estimates
• Supervise, coordinate and review the work of other engineers and designers
• Provide the design staff with guidance and assistance on projects
• Responsible for the successful completion of projects under his/her direction
• Participate in BD activities for pursuit of bridge opportunities and cross-selling of other firm disciplines
• Assist with pursuits of highway and transportation projects

• Requires a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering with emphasis in bridge design
• Masters Degree in Structural Engineering preferred but not mandatory
• PE license required and at least 10+ years of bridge design required
• Project Management experience required
• Successful experience managing bridge design projects and design teams using analysis software
• Ability to prepare comprehensive engineering reports
• Experience with PennDOT/PTC design standards and software required. Experience showing successfully delivery of projects for PennDOT/PTC is preferred
• Experience working with DRPA and DRJTBC highly desired
