Our client, a not-for-profit teaching hospital serving an ethnically diverse community in New York City, is hiring a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).

Responsibilities

• Work with a multidisciplinary team in an outpatient setting providing care to children and adolescents with broad range of mental health issues.
• Conduct psychiatric evaluations
• Make diagnosis
• Provide medication management to patients.

Requirements:

• Experience in behavioral health treating children and adolescents required but consideration will be given to those with interest in treating the population.
• NYS Professional Registered Nurse license required.
• NYS Nurse Practitioner Certification required.
• MSN in Psychiatry & Mental Health required at a minimum.
• Knowledge of electronic Medical Records Systems required.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office required.
