Pulse-MD Urgent Care ( is seeking Full Time or Part Time Nurse Practitioners (FNP) for our six New York locations. We provide an excellent work environment. The practice is Physician owned and the partners are involved in day-to-day operations. No corporate ladders.
Our Urgent Care is open Saturday-Sunday 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
A full-time position would require 3 twelve-hour shifts.
Full Time position is available with benefits and malpractice covered by us.
Must be available to work at other locations if needed.
Pulse-MD Urgent Care is a growing chain with locations in (Dutchess, Putnam, Westchester Counties) and is in search of FT Nurse Practitioners. FNP must have either Primary Care, Urgent Care, Emergency Room, or Internal Medicine experience. Here are some more requirements.
Analyze and interpret patients' histories, symptoms, physical findings, or diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses.
Consult with or refer patients to appropriate specialists when conditions exceed the scope of practice or expertise.
Counsel patients about drug regimens and possible side effects or interactions with other substances such as food supplements, over the counter (OTC) medications, or herbal remedies.
Detect and respond to adverse drug reactions, with special attention to vulnerable populations such as infants, children, pregnant and lactating women, or older adults.
Diagnose or treat acute health care problems such as illnesses, infections, or injuries.
Diagnose or treat complex, unstable, comorbid, episodic, or emergency conditions in collaboration with other health care providers, as necessary.
Educate patients about self-management of acute or chronic illnesses, tailoring instructions to patients' individual circumstances.
Maintain current knowledge of state legal regulations.
Order, perform, or interpret the results of diagnostic tests, such as complete blood counts (CBCs), electrocardiograms (EKGs), and radiographs (x-rays).
Perform care procedures such as suturing, splinting, administering immunizations, taking cultures, and debriding wounds.
Perform routine or annual physical examinations.
Prescribe and/or administer medications based on efficacy, safety, and cost as legally authorized.
Treat or refer patients for primary care conditions, such as headaches, hypertension, urinary tract infections, upper respiratory infections, and dermatological conditions.
ER or Urgent Care experience and DOT Certification preferred.
Salary based on experience.
New Graduates: $65 per hour
Two years experience: $70-75 per hour
Five years or more experience: $75-80 per hour
Urgent care or ER specific experience with over 10 years: $90 per hour
