Position Overview

Assist VP of Operations in managing the daily operations of imaging modalities for all locations. Coordinate and manage front end patient care and operations with all radiologic technologists, MRI technologists, and MRI patient access representatives, in conjunction with providers and clinical support staff.

Essential Functions

· Complete all radiology department schedules.

· Perform radiologic duties when called upon with proper certifications.

· Order clinic supplies.

· Supervise MRI PARs, MRI technologists and Radiology Technologists.

· Perform staff performance evaluations and provide feedback.

· Communicate regularly VP of Operations to facilitate clinic flow, staffing needs, areas for improved efficiency.

· Oversee and federal regulations for all Imaging equipment.

· Coordinate with vendors for service and maintenance.

· Approve Invoices.

· Oversee protocols update/review annually.

· Make sure ACR accreditation is up to date for all MRI units new and then annually

· Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers through prompt response and courteous communication.

· Communicate and model WECARE.

· Coordinate patient care with other departments or physician offices.

· Prompt response to all patient or other treatment provider concerns.

· Interact professionally and appropriately in providing direction for all team members.

· 30, 60, 90-day reviews for new staff.

· Track task numbers, track MRI Leakage, find ways to resolve gaps in schedule.

· Ensure all new equipment installs are timely, precise, and accurate.

· Audit MRI and X-Ray Quality.

· Ensure team follows Safety Protocols.

· Inform and Participate in Radiology Budgeting Process.

· Focus efforts on Department profitability and stewardship.

Other :

· Anticipate ways to improve patient care and experience.

· Assists in the evaluation, development and effectiveness of systems and protocols.

· Participates in professional development activities and maintains professional affiliations.

· Other Duties as assigned.

Knowledge/Skills Abilities Required

· ARRT Certification(s), BLS Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

· Prior Supervisory experience.

· Proficient knowledge of all POSC sub-specialties.

· Must be proactive and be able to problem solve.

· Knowledge of EHR/PACs system.

· Type at least 40 WPM.

· Excellent communication skills.

· In depth knowledge of pharmacology, anatomy and physiology, surgical procedures as well as treatment modalities.

· Must be able to spell accurately.

· Willingness to adapt easily to change.

· Strong organizational skills.

· Ability to multi-task and prioritize.

· Ability to remain calm under pressure.

· Ability to maintain quality control standards.

· Knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA requirements.

· Ability to oversee State Regs for multiple Imaging modalities when installed and annually from there on out.

· Ability to schedule preventative maintenance as stated in contracts/as needed for imaging modalities.

· Ability to work with several different outside vendors.

Pay Information: $112,600.00 to $125,200.00/annually
