Job Summary:

Our client is a leading Digital Marketing/E-Commerce Agency working with mid to large-scale and enterprise level clientele looking for an experienced SEO Digital Marketing professional to join our Toronto team. This role will cover all aspects of effective SEO from auditing of client sites to strategy development and implementation management.

Experience across key areas including architecture, content, linking and on-site engagement is critical. This is a tremendous opportunity for career growth in a rapidly expanding digital agency with several offices worldwide and numerous high profile clients.

This is a fast-paced, supportive and very creative Agency environment with a fantastic culture focusing on team, personal development and fun. This role will be directly accountable for the Search Engine Optimization for mid to high-end clients, and at times working directly with C-level executives of such clients.

Responsibilities:

· Competitive research

· Identification of current SEO challenges for clients

· Developing SEO strategy using best practices

· Project management of internal and external teams

· Presentation of deliverables to clients

· Reporting on key metrics related to SEO effectiveness

Skills/Qualifications:

The successful candidate must have:

· 2-4 years experience in an SEO role

· must have previous agency experience with a successful track record.

· Demonstrated expertise in content creation/optimization or link building

· Experience with SEO tools such as SEOmoz, SEM Rush, Majestic SEO, Ahrefs

· Experience with Google Webmaster Tools and Google Analytics

· Understanding of changing search engine algorithms and their impact on SEO

· Comfortable working with large amounts of data

· Familiarity with web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)

· Self-disciplined and organized to work remotely in a fast-paced team environment.

· Strong written and communications skills

· Hungry to take on more responsibility for career and skill growth

· Knowledge for building high quality links while creating link strategies for clients

· Proven track record in Mobile and Desktop Search (Site Speed and Schema Markups)

 

This is a Full-time and Fully Remote opportunity with benefits and paid PTO (Personal Time Off).

This position can be located anywhere within the country, and must be legally able to work in Canada.
