_ This position is fully remote and requires candidates to be residing in and authorized to work in the United States. _

_ We are currently hiring in the following US states: FL, IL, MI, MD, NV, NH, NC, OH, PA, TN, TX, VA, WI. _

We are seeking an organized and experienced Software Developer/Engineer to join our Product team. This position will have the opportunity to build and influence the next set of innovative software features driving the gaming. We are looking for individuals who have the passion and understanding for PC gaming combined with a strong technical background to help build our next-generation desktop software.

Compensation

The starting annual salary for this role is $70-85K USD depending on knowledge, skills, experience, education, and geographical location.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new features for the Glorious CORE desktop software suite

  • Innovate and enhance existing features to meet users’ needs

  • Improve the software suite, solving technical debt and adding compatibility with new products, platforms, and features as necessary

  • Collaborate with Engineering, Quality Assurance, Product Development, and other teams to plan and design features for upcoming products

  • Physically use and experiment with products to understand how Glorious CORE features may improve their functionality, and use this knowledge in the development process

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Located and authorized to work in the current country of residence
  • Professional fluency in English
  • Access to a reliable high-speed internet connection
  • Demonstrated alignment with Glorious’ core values: taking ownership, working collaboratively, showing respect, being curious, and acting both quickly and decisively
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a relevant field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3+ years of experience working as part of a software/engineering team to build and design systems including architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with C/C++, ElectronJS, ReactJS, WebAssembly, C#
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with CI/CD and pipelines, automated testing, and git versioning
  • Demonstrated experience working with software applications that interface with HID, similar to/including mice and keyboards

Preferred Skills & Abilities

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail

  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to work without direct supervision

  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment with fast delivery time, rapid iteration, and data-driven decision-making

  • Experience with Asana or another project management tool strongly preferred
