Job Title: Behavioral Health LVN/LPN • Days

Join our team as a Licensed Vocational Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse in the Behavioral Health department, committed to a 26•week contract, working full•time, five days a week.

Responsibilities:
• Deliver nursing care to individuals with behavioral issues and intellectual disabilities.
• Administer medication and float to different units as needed.
• Maintain effective communication with team and patients.

Requirements:
• Active Texas LPN/LVN Licensure and AHA BLS Certification.
• 2 years of LVN/LPN experience, with 1 year in a facility for individuals with intellectual disabilities.
• Experience with a larger med pass and COVID•19 vaccination.

Preferred Experience:
• Nursing home experience and work with medically fragile individuals.

Note: Agency nurses may be pulled to other units as needed. Patient ratios are kept low. Our location is in Denton, Texas, with on•site parking. EMR system used is Iris/Cerner. Scrub requirement is pending.
