Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design and execution of water and wastewater projects, including treatment facilities, pipelines, and infrastructure systems.
  • Support project managers in overseeing project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Contribute to the design review process, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and client specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges and optimise project solutions.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor project progress, verify design implementation, and ensure quality control.
  • Help manage client and regulatory relationships, ensuring timely communication and compliance with project requirement.

Required Expertise:

  • Water and Wastewater Engineering: Experience in designing and supporting the execution of water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
  • Design Review & Support: Ability to assist in reviewing designs, ensuring adherence to project specifications and regulatory standards.
  • Project Support: Strong understanding of project management processes, including schedule tracking, budget management, and resource allocation.
  • Technical Proficiency: Solid foundation in civil or environmental engineering principles and practices.
  • Collaboration & Problem-Solving: Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and solve complex technical issues.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients, team members, and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • 4-6 years of experience in water and wastewater engineering, focusing on design and project execution.
  • Experience with industry-specific software such as AutoCAD, GIS, and Microsoft Project.
