Social Media Manager duties and responsibilities
The Social Media Manager’s role is to focus on increasing brand awareness through the effective use of social media outlets. The Social Media Manager will be tasked with several key duties, such as:
• Using social media marketing tools to create and maintain the client’s brand
• Working with client representative to develop social media campaigns
• Interacting with clients and other stakeholders via the company’s social media accounts
• Creating and editing video content
• Analyzing the client’s social media strategy and identifying strategic weaknesses and making recommendations for improvements
• Researching social media trends and informing leadership of changes that are relevant to the company’s marketing activities
• Setting key performance indicators (KPIs) for social media campaigns, such as targets for a certain number of shares or likes and measuring a campaign’s performance against the KPIs
• Experience/Skills:
o Successful track record with Social Media.
o Advanced social strategy abilities
o Experience with Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Tik Tok, and all that apply
o Familiarity with Video editing and creation
o Ability to optimize content strategically to drive results
• Establishing brand awareness
o Strong and consistent communication skills
o Creativity to Think outside the box
o Knowledge of social media management tool
o Understanding of analytics and reporting
o Community building and relationship building
o Positive attitude, detailed and client oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability
• Requirements
o Self-Starter, Excellent multitasking, and organizational ability
o Ability to be flexible with work schedule to cover events
o Experienced in all aspects of social media
o BS in Communications, Marketing/Advertising Preferred not required.
o Proven Social Media experience.
